Home Modifications Workshops

Workshops Conducted for Allianz Global Assistance

Home Modifications Australia (MOD.A) and Allianz Global Assistance (AGA) presented a series of workshops in across 5 state capitals during late 2016 - early 2017.

These interactive workshops presented best practice considerations across design and build of residential home modifications with reference to legislative requirements, design principles and relevant codes/standards. Target audience were Occupational Therapists and builders working in home modifications or that were interested in working in this area.

The workshops were extremely successful with more than 185 OTs and dozens of builders and other trades-people attending. Delegates appreciated the opportunity to discuss and workshop case studies and different scenarios with colleagues and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of home modifications, as well as the presentations and product demonstrations from our many exhibitors. Participants evaluated all aspects of each workshop very highly with 99% indicating they would recommend it to their colleagues.
